Default car repair questions (just out of interest)

what happens if a car gets damaged to more than the cars worth can i still get them repaired if they are reparible writeoffs because i think you can still repair repairable writeoffs and re register them but with staturatory writeoffs you cant re register them could i have any information on the difference between repariable writeoffs and statutatory writeoffs.

repairable writeoffs mean the chassis was not damaged or possibly only very slightly therefore making it repairable ( everything else on a car is basically replacable other than the chassis ) and can be re-registered but they have to go through regency ( car inspection place ) to make sure its safe and repaired properly.

statuatory write off's mean the chassis's stuffed and the whole car cannot be repaired to a safe state and they cannot be re-registered EVER!

    hope this helps you
    We got rep back, yaaay!
