my car has been stolen (sniff)

I know this might be off this section, but here goes

im asleep and i hear my mum yelling "wheres the car", my little VC is gone, it was parked next to my VN, you think they would have tried for that was well.

But to be stolen from the driveway. it wasnt insured either, i know i have another car but i was using it as a spare, i only just got the VN back on the friday, after it getting fixed (there goes over 2 weeks wages for the repair).

My dad use to drive it every day, his been diagnosed with cancer (2nd time around), now he hasnt a car to drive around in, seeing as i need the car to go to work


we have an idea who took it.... some guy came here while i was at work, he wanted to buy the car, and dad said no, he noticed the shirt on his back, it said "car wreckers", who goes to a strangers house, and asks if the car for sale, when there was no for sale sign on it

id go check it out, if he had the company name on the back of his shirt say your after some bits off a vc, if it didnt say the company name ring all the places you can and find your car, thats one big lawsuit if that guy did sell your car.

windscreen smashed, passenger window broken, heater missing, glovebox gone, indicator smashed, they even took the club lock, and the dash mat, and the steering cover as well

too the wreckers yard it seems sniff

yes either it was wreckers, or some dope doing up his car, and cant be bothered getting a job the hard way like i did for this car, (with dads help as well)

it wouldn't be the first time car wreckers had been known to source cheap stock

ahh.. that sucks sorry to hear! I know what its like to have a car stolen (not my own) I also know what its like to have your baby taken away from you before its time! (my own car!!)

Gotta agree with most of you guys, funny that you get a visit, then it gets flogged, but only selected items missing. it had to be done to order ay. I really hope you can find your parts, and also get the VC up and running again.

does anyone with a VC out there know if these parts are hard to come by or expensive? just cos it'd suck if you had to buy em if:
a. they were stolen or
b. they were stolen and yours in the first place
