Holden HSV memcal?????

Hi,im new to this forum.Just wanted to know if anyone had any good or bad things to say about the memcal chip/knock sensor/harness on ebay.Is it true what they are selling?if i purchase this item will it improve the performance and response of my VR V8 Statesmen?

Just wanted to hear from you guys/girls.Have any of you purchased this item and found it to be good???

Yeah i read through that thread.But this memcal package with the knock sensor and harness (they mention that it will increase power for example
VR V8 from 165kw to 185kw)They also mention it is the HSV chip/memcal (note the resistor trick which lots of people keep talking about).They have a buy it now price of $290 plus postage/handling.

What i want to know is it worth purchasing???Will it do what these people say it will???

It also mentions that they have over 2000 positive feedbacks..I dont know,i want to purchase it and want it to work as they say.But also have heard some people say it doesnt work properly...

Do they tell you that the 185 kilowatt was with the hsv cai and extractors Anyone know what they produce without them ?????

the memcal with (or without)knock sensor does work but the "resistor trick" doesn't. as suggested above contact Dr bob (PM) or have a look on his site Rob's Creative Calibrations he will be able to do the same for you for less $$ probably and maybe give you a beter result then what you get from ebay. if you have any mods he'll do the memcal to suit etc

Nope, has a code though. When i took the standard tune out of my VS Senator it didn't have anything in the way of "HSV" or "185" or anything like that on it.
