What to buy?

Hi,

Shortly i will be selling my car and upgrading to something a little newer but i am undecided on what to buy.
I have about $17,000 to play with, i had my heart set on a statesman but here are my options.

Holden Statesman (2001) 5.7Ltr V8
Around $17,000
100,000-160,000km

or

Holden Commodore VY - VZ (V6)
Around $17,000
50,000 - 110,000km

I want to have the car for atleast 5-6 years so i started leaning towards a nice clean VY-VZ as it has less KM compared to a Statesman and is newer model.

I know there is alot of difference between the two options but i really like the luxary of a statesman with the leather seats and features and you dont see many done up 2001 statesmans and being a V8 but also like the thought of the resale and less km's of a VY-VZ.

Whats everyones thoughts?

Statesman by FARRRRRRR. power AND luxury combined! youll get sick of the vy easily. they got nothing goin for them. too plain. (my opinion)

for 17k i'd get a VS GTS if you can find one for that price

I'm not a fan of the statesman personally, for that money you could get a vt series 2 ss in good nick, that's what i'd go for.

As said i would also go for the VT or a VX SS, if i was looking at buying a V8
