    Default Tyre ratings explained.

I was looking for some clarification on tyre ratings, and found this site.

    TYRESAVE: Tyre Speed Ratings

Has basically everything you need to know about what tyres are rated to (and the speed they are allowed to travel)

Basically i was after ZRs, but the guy only had Ws available, guess thats a bargain for me then

    I get mates rates anyway.
200 for an 18in Falken was pretty good going by the retail price at other places (280 plus i think)

    They are Falken Zeix ZE329

Stick like glue in the wet and dry. Had a set of 4 before, rears seem to have worn alot quicker than the fronts (so much so the front are still new lol) so i chucked those on the backs, and put the brand newies on the front.

They have changed tread pattern, so i hope that doesn't change the tyre characteristics, cause i loved the way they were before.

Awesome in the dry. Extremly dangerous in the wet. I wouldnt reccomend these tyres to an inexperienced driver who has no ability to keep a car sideways.

On the plus side. The rubber lasts for a really long time even after alot of burnouts. They are also very cheap. Last i paid was $110 per tyres fitted.
