engine conversion (will i need an engineers cert)

just went and had a look at a 95 vs acclaim and it had a statesman l67 in it, will i need an engineers certificate for this car. im in the a.c.t.

As far as I know any engine that didn't come standard/upgradeable for that car you will need an eng. cert. In saying that the VS Calais/Stato came with the L67 but not the acclaim so I’m not sure unfortunately. A lot of other people would know the specifics much better on here then me though.
