Hi all,
I have a 308 vk. I have read in a couple of magazines that you can fit vt and vr disc brakes to the front. Is there much involved? Will they fit onto my existing struts?
In a few words, yes.
You can get a VT front brake setup to fit your existing struts, alot of places have the kit on offer now.
Shop around but i got mine for 500 bucks.
any brakes fitted from VB to VP will bolts straight on, no mods including the 330mm brakes that some HSV models had (very ahrd to find and many$$$). to do the VT conversion you need to get special hubs and new brake lines etc. most places do kits now as mentioned above, starting at about $500 going into many 1000's depending on how fast oyu wanna stop
