How do i remove old gaskets. they are stuck and hard to remove, is there anything to make removing it easy? thanks
A razor and a steady hand?
Yep works a treat, if not use a dremel, but not too much as you want a flat surface for the gasket to seal properly.
is there some stuff that will soften the gasket? maybe paint stripper or some harsh chemical.
Petrol should work
I just spray some hot water over the gasket with an atomiser, then scrape away at it with a flexible paint scraper. What surface are you trying to remove the gasket from?
