I got a quote through them and it was $200 more than NRMA and they wont cover you if you have any performance mods what so ever. I wouldn't use them.
Sorry it should be Bingle.com.au
Mine is much cheaper than RACV though, and yeah, they don't insure modifications
I just got the new supercheap auto catalogue and on the back it has an add for SuperCheap Auto Car Insurance. Dunno what they would be like but would be interesting for a look.
LOL I just did a quick quote thing on their website, they wont even insure me.

Just be careful that the cheap premium doesnt make the excess massive. Generally thats the trade off with insurance.
Although if you never have to pay an excess, then its definately worth going for the cheap premium. But its hard to say whether you will ever make a claim or not and need to pay an excess. Its just the chance you take

Thanks sganro,
I checked up their excess is $500.
Same as RACV.
ah yeah thats alright then

I dont know if id trust them, just because they arent established and their website looks like it was smashed together in about 2 minutes.
I have just had a fairly good look in to them and according to the PDS they are actually AAMI (not just underwritten by AAMI)
Quotes from PDS:
Bingle and Australian Associated Motor
Insurers Limited are part of the same group
and neither receives commissions or other
financial incentives through the sale of Bingle
insurance policies. However, Bingle’s costs
of doing business are paid from the premiums
received from Bingle policies.
Bingle’s staff are employed by Australian
Associated Motor Insurers Limited. They also
do not receive commissions or other financial
incentives for selling insurance. They are paid
an annual salary under Australian Associated
Motor Insurers Limited’s Enterprise Agreement.

Hey guys i found this the other day. Only applies to males under 25 though, but if you are under 25 its pretty helpful.
