the new v8 restrictions on p plate drivers

Hey all,

I got my p plates in January this year, but then I got my lisence suspended in April for speeding (I know it's stupid, but don't give me a lecture on the dangers of unsafe driving, you can't say you've never put your foot down).

Anyway, I get my lisence back on 30th of September and was wondering if the V8 laws and all that kinda crap will effect me?

Where are you? If QLD no they will not affect you as the suspension too effect BEFORE the new laws. If you get it suspended again though you WILL go under the new laws. (provided it takes effect after July 1 2007 which it will unless you have some sort of insane time travel thing)

In qld you only go under new laws if you had p's before if you get your licence CANCELLED (chopped in half) otherwise your fine.

Lucky you only got it suspended and not cancelled. A cancelled license woulda really screwed you over in terms of getting a v8 in the near future lol. Would teach anyone in that position a good lesson though ha ha.
