is selling a HSV build plate illegal
like do you have to be a HSV registered dealer to sell them
i have a VN clubsport build plate from my written off vn that im thinking of selling for the right price. But im not desparate cause i would like to keep the build plate for sentimental value.
and how much wold it be worth??? in your opinion
I would imagine selling it would be frowned upon, but as its a written off car I dont really know. The only reason why i would see a problem is if someone tried sticking it into their mock up clubsport and trying to sell it as something its not.
have u handed in the lic plates? if u have its pointless sellin the cars classed as a write off
If you reshelled the car , and kept it all original , i dont see the issue ( you must keep the new shells compliance plates with that car )
Any compliance plate removal is illegal in every state in australia , its classed as "rebirthing" and is what the stolen vehicle trade does.
people sell them everyday , dont think a VN plate would be worth much tho.. best to keep it on the wall for sentimentality ( like hangin personalised plates in the shed )
Its not what you know or who you know , its how well you can fake it
