hey, I have a 1989 VN commodore, its a manual, im pretty sure its an S, and has slight interior and exterior damage. still runs well and has a fairly good engine. I don't know much about the car but off that general description id like to know roughly how much id get for it? any help would be really appreciated. thanks

would need to know k's, any service history etc.
Give you say its generally pretty rough you might get 900 for it. People do like the manuals. Sounds like a good start for a speedway car...

Maybe even a pic would help. But a rough VN can go for about 1G and even a bit more if its manual. But like vlv8vic says, you would need the km of the car and even if anything has been done to it or if its in original condition

hope those are ok. unfortunatley my battery ran out on my camera. but the exterior damage is that there is rust spots and a few scrapes and scrathches and also the s badge has been partially nicked (who knows why).
On the interior, the drivers seat has quite a large tear in the side but could be fixed easily. my dad tried to glue the lining of the roof back up because it had fallen down so it looks a bit dodgy.
As for the ks well it stoped ticking over (not sure when), however its done about 10 trips to melbourne and back, and many more long distance runs.
since i have been driving it (it ws my parents car), its never failed on me apart from when i left my lights on a few times and ran the battery flat. I think it is a bit of a slug, but its an old heavy car so i expect that. definatley needs a face lift as it hasnt been touched since the day my family has owned it, apart from the mags. but yeah hope that information is a bit better.

thats not to bad from what i can see. sounds like shes done a few ks lol. bein a s model with a 5 speed in it id be tryin to get 1600 for it

Like other have said, cause its a manual, A Learner or P plater will pay more for it, so put it in the paper for $2500, or even 3k and just see how it goes if you get 1800 ya laughing
