Not sure if its been asked before but a mate just had one installed in his VS SS and is asking me if its legal, but i've never thought about it...
So.. Are B&M Shifters legal?
As far as i am aware most of them are, as the shifter panel is located on the LEFT side of the actual shifter itself, but B&M do make several shifters where the panel is located on the RIGHT side of the shifter.
The actual shifter system itself is legal, but panel being on the wrong side would be considered unroadworthy.

You have to have it so it lights up when your lights are on and the neutral cut out switch has to be hook up aswell thats all I was told when I had mine in my old vk.
Yeah, that sounds about right.
And Mack, I'm sure 90% of commodores out there have some form of lighting issue ^^ Mainly in the tail-lights![]()

I read on SC that the Pro Ratchet is illegal because it doesn't illuminate at night, but the quicksilver and megashifter etc. are legal because they do.
Oh yeah i didn't think of that ^^^^ Well yes they are factors too.
