Default What to buy?

Hey guys, looking for an upgrade from my 93 hsv formula, looking to spend $15K max and thought id get some opinions from you guys. Still on my P's so can only get a straight 6, was thinking maybe a VX Spack, or stock VY/VZ with relatively low kms that i will put some $$ into in the near future. Or even a reasonably done up VT? Whats gona b best value for money? Let me know what youz think

if i were in your position i would hold on to that money until i got off my p's and let it save up a bit more, your 20 so you only got what, another year to get your full license, keep saving the money then when your off your p's you should have enough money to buy a nice vx/vy ss or hsv. thats what i would do anyway and you wouldnt have to spend much moeny on one of them then say a stocko vx or vy

Hey Mate

Well it depends do you want a V6 or a V8, and how long you plan on keeping the car for ??

If you want a V6 i would be looking for a VX or VY S pac

Or if you want a V8 like others have said keep the car you got until ur off you P's for a few years eg until ur 20 insurance want be so high, then get a VY/Z SS ???

If you *have* to spend your money then generally the newer the car, the less hassles and better it is to drive. I'd go the VY.

Spend the money on a deposit for a home loan, 5 years time you can have ANY car you want.

Hey Mate

If thats the case, i would go for a VY S pac, i got mine begining of the year was me first car for $18 000, with 75 000km on the clock and was a manual, ive seen a few lately in the paper etc for $16 000 though there all autos, though ive also seen some for 20k, though pirces are dropping all the time, so yeah if your not in a rush, just keep looking around one will pop up for the right price, though its up to you of course.

Have a wander around Pickles car auctions one day or see their website for a listing. I've seen VZ's with low k's for about $15K
