Im loving this minispool, all the people who told me i wouldnt like it and how bad it will be were completely wrong. this is great!!

hahaha, as long as you're mature enough to be sensible when you have to be, I think a spool is a great budget option. I would never have one myself, but I know a couple of people who do - and they havn't looked back.

when i finally get around to building my toy car it will definitly be minispooled. it's going to be a strip/track warrior for club days etc so it won't see much street use

probably cause of the simplicity of a minispool. i know a full spool is a lot stronger and the weight advantage also. was looking at one fitted to a BW 78 diff housing the other day, it also had fully floating shafts, hub setup. very nice setup but not cheap. a minispool i can fit at home and will only take a few hrs to have it driving, with a full spool i'll need to get it set up properly to get the correct backlash and wear patern
