Default Should i cut'n'polish

Hi all,

juat after some advice on whether i should cut and polish my car. I have a white vr, and the paint has gone rather dull (not chalky though). up close you can sought of see little fracture type marks in the paint. i have tried cleaner wax, but it doesnt do much for the duller areas. Should i cut and polish, or is there anything else you can suggest.

sounds like your talking about "crows feet" in the paint, and if it is there not alot you can do about it, short of a re-spray. you can improve the appearance, but you wont be able to get rid of it completely.
id suggest doing a full cut and polish, if you really want to get the most out of it id start with a wash then clay bar the entire car, then cut it, and follow with a polish and a good sealant (wax).

sircruisealot, you could contact Dulvari Prestige detailing on 0414501706 or Chris @ Driven By Shine detailing. Both are located on the Gold Coast but work mobile and their work is outstanding to say the least. Even if they don't do work on you could still get their opinion.
