    Default PWR Transmission Coolers......Anyone Fitted One?

    Hey guys, i'll be buying a PWR trans cooler kit next week, was just wondering if anyone has ever fitted one onto a VN, VP, VR VS or VT before???? How easy / hard was it??? Cheers!!

    mate put one on his vs v6, was a half hour job and looks alright.... still cant justify that it is half the size of mine and cost 3 times as much....

    How big is yours and what brand is it? The bigger, the better (or the cooler)............

    mines a B&M 3/8 inch pipe core, its about 1/3rd the size of the radiator cost me 40 bucks with hose clamps

    the one in my VP ute was put on when i had the trans done,its about 1/2 the size of the radiator and seems to do a good job,from memory he said they where about $150 fitted.I had one put on the VS when i had it as well.

    Is it just a matter of mounting the cooler and attaching the line to it??

    does the cooler you want have 3/8 inch fittings or the anodised screw type??? if its the first one its a matter of cutting the 3/8inch hose to length and attatching the hose clamps to either end of the line and mounting the cooler to the radiator or making a bracket from the top and bottom of the radiator support

    Not sure i haven't really got one in mind yet so i thought i'd ask and get some opinions.......

    I'm assuming most transmission places can order them in etc??

    ebay is your friend for these..... $120ish for a decent sized one.... they are over $200 in stores

    Yeah i just looked at a few on ebay.......the full kits for around $150 mark
