    Default 3.45 Diff gears

    hey, i am looking at getting an LSD for my VT and was jst wondering with the 3.45 diff gears how much the speedo is going to be out by if any. does anyone know how much it will cost to get the speedo recalibrated?

    cheers mate, is that 2 -5 kays under or over :P dumb question but im guessing over

    Mine seems to have shifted about 10ks, it was about 5 too low before and now it's about 5 too high

    the speedo will be out 12% (3.45/3.08).

    The speedo will be out in proportion to your speed, so say at when you are doing 60, the speedo will say 67, when doing 80, it will say 90. You can't put a flat figure on how many k's it will be out.

    mine went out 10ks in my vn with a 3.45 diff gears

    btw that diff is for sale 2 months old, full rebuild with 3.45 gears, due to car being written off

    yeah, mine is out by about 10-12k's/hr...more once your over 100k's/hr.
