vx s pac - how many kms is too many

looking at buying a 2002 vxII s for $16.5K, it has 120,000 on the dial which i thought was ok but a mate who knows a bit more about cars said its too many. reply asap

120 000, isnt that much, if its serviced every 5 000 - 10000 k's and been looked after she'll be fine mate, though the price is a too high i think, ill be looking at giving no more than 14,500 for it though its up to you

Agree with holdenman about the price and kms. the ecotec motors go for a long time mate, many JC members have superchagers the ecotecs with over 200,000kms, u will be fine mate

My VX S has done 175,000 and hasn't missed a beat

nah thats ok i think the average is 25,000 k's a year so yours works out alright

thanks guys, alot of people have said "thats a bit expensive" but i cant really seem to find one much cheaper...i want black which narrows my search a fair bit. So if anyones willing to sell one for lower let me kno lol

mate its up 2 u though i would wait and keep looking, it took me like over 3 months to find my car, though if you think the cars worth 16.5k then go for it
