Hard to say what it is, but does it cut out when you put on the AC or only whenever the fan comes on?? and does it cut put while driving???

Not sure but it could be the IAC valve not adjusting the revs properly to compensate the extra engine load the AC compressor is giving.

Can you give us more detail - like does it only cuts out when stationary or while driving or both??

My VN was cutting out when the fan on the A/C condencer came on - it was the ECU.

Could be fan switch - shorting out some how.
Will the car start if the fan switch is in the on position - 1 2 3 or 4?

driving or stationary it cuts out when you put the fan on anyspeed. doesnt matter whether ac is on or off. the fan starts up still it jus kills the engine.

what if you pull the fuse for the fan motor? will the car start then?

That could point to the problem electrical circuit

Took the fuse out, put the fan on and then tried to start it and it worked. So now i just have to find out whats tripping the circuit? :S like i said tho, the fan still starts up and ac/heating works..just not in combination with the engine

You'll probably have to chase out the whole fan circuit and all its connections to find the fault - you can run some by-pass wires to replace the main loom ones if you find where the short is.

Also can you unplug the fan motor & put the fuse back in - does it start - with the fan switched on? If you fan motor is the problem - the car will work fine. If the car stalls you know the fan motor to be good and the problem is else where.
