    Default burnout Q??

i was interested in entering the weekly burnout comp at whoop as wednesday (for wa members) just 2 give it a shot b4 a buy sum new rubber. for those who have manuals, whats the best method for changing up gears while still doing a burnout. nearly ne one can do a burnout and stay in first but its not that good to keap slamming the rev limiter. STEALTHY... or any other members who has experince a little help would be apreciated.
    cheers jesse.

once youve dropped the clutch and your gte wheel spin, grab the break with you right heel (left on clutch, right heel on break, right toe on accelator) then, once revs are up, stab cluctch and shift down, dont drop revs... power shift it.

Thats what i do anyway.... stealthy will know....

I use to use heel and tow, but found it to complicated, I kept getting confused easy haha!!

Now I just give it a few revs, dump the clutch and the clutch foot I put on the brake straight after it comes off the clutch. When I change into 2nd, I quickly take my foot off the brake and back on the clutch, meanwhile my accelerator foot has come off a bit to, change gears then back on the accelerator, and as soon as my foot comes off the clutch it's straight back onto the brake.

Altho sumtimes I stuff the skid up coz it won't go into the next gear, so I gotta put it back into 1st and start again lol.

It's a must, having ur back brakes locked off. Ya can get a plier like device which is plastic and u squeeze it over the rear rubber brake line then lock the pliers. We use them heaps. If ya got a powerful donk well ya might not need them, but locking off the back brakes makes underpowered cars do skids easy

So as to not start anything this thread is closed. It will be removed. If you wish to talk about how to do this(although in a legal comp) it almost always ends up in crap.
