Used Cars For Sale: HOLDEN COMMODORE on Trading Post Online
Ive already taken it for a test drive, and it does drive nicely. the only thing im worried about is that its done 240 000kms. he says he has changed the oil himself every 7000kms. he also said he would take $6500 for it. its a very quick car and the engine doesnt feel like it has any problems or sluggishness for its age, what do you guys think? how long will this ecotech last before it needs a rebuild?
hes dreamin.... i wouldnt pay anything over 5k and even thats abit high for a 95 vs with 240k
have another look around dude u could do beter
wrecking VL COMMODORE 5 speed
FOR SALE : supra 5 speed box suite holden v8 $800
it says 185kw engine is it a v8?
V8 or not its not worth that price especially with that many K's. I've seen many V8's cheaper than that with lower K's here in Vic.
nah its a v6 but he has worked it slightly, just a big cam and extractors pretty much. problem is im chasing a manual and theyre so bloody hard to find!!!!!!!!!!!!! ill have another look around then
iv got a munal VS V6 for $5700 with only 164,XXX on the clock. total stock bar a small stero. i will be selling the car again shortly as i am doing work up in the mines and have no use for it. il prob advertise for 7k and hope to get around 6k. iv done a little work to it as well (cat back exhaust, high performace gearbox, clutch and flywheel ($2000), VY SS 18' rims, colour coded handles mirrors etc. id still only want 6 for it so on that note... id keap looking.

its all good i ended up buying a 96 vs berlina, its an auto, but its only done 135 000kms and i couldnt knock that back. it had only had one female owner since new, serviced every 5000 - 10000k's, and it was in tip top condition. managed to pick it up for 6.5. wont be long before i start modding!

Bought my VS Calais last year for $3,200, insured with the NRMA for $6,700. The back seat was cut up by the old ladies dog, but a quick trip to the trimmer fixed up and matched the leather perfect for a few hundred. ...keep lookin, good luck
