Install mini spool

Hey guys before you look at this and think, "Owe another Spool Thread" it is not one of them. I was just wondering if anyone could install a mini spool in my car for me. I would not have ne idea of how to put it in. I have a VR Sedan with IRS and would like it if someone could fit a mini spool in my diff or even just weld it so its locked for me. Let me know if anyone can help me out with this.

I am aware of that but i am will to take the risk. i just had my car defected and its fully rwc now and looks it as well so i should be ok and if it happens it happens. i just want to have a little fun before i get a new car.

Yeah the way i see it is that it is not as easy to find that your car has a spool rather then other reasons to defect me lol. I dont normally burn rubber on the open road but go to a discrete few places where police are not normally around. I want a spool because i have only ever driven a car with a single pegger so now i want to learn to drive a locked diff while having some fun and extending my driver knowledge. A mini spool is also a cheaper way to do things other then a LSD. I dont plan on having this car too much longer but this will help be decide if i want a spool or lsd in my next car.

a minispool is a solid piece that replaces the diff centre and locks the axles together full time. a spool (or known as full spool) replaces the whole diff but does the same job.

well for one you cant cos it doesnt fit with the clutch in an lsd....

exactly.. no point of an LSD when the axles are already locked in the first place. I was going to say something sooner but wasnt sure if I was reading correctly lol.

You do not have an LSD and spool. First of all the two would not both fit in the carrier. Second of all if you some how did fit them, it would serve no point. The spool permanently locks the axles together so the LSD would be of no purpose.

for some reason with Holden diffs (especially Salisbury type) and some BTR BW diffs,
minispools will only fit in an LSD case (won't fit in a single spinner)

so yeahhh...LSD spool is sorta kinda maybe a bit correct
