I have been made aware that my current place of employment is closing down due to poor management and debt, so i am looking to purchase another car my current ride is a company car vy (series 2) base ute model. i dont mind the vy but it has its problems such as the shuddery power steer and the shonky steering wheel audio controls. Is the vz ute any better in having most vy issues resolved or should i seriously looki at getting the VE. I'm probably looking towards the VE omega ute with hard lid. What do you think i should look to getting and what prices i should be looking at for a vz or VE, and any of you guys have the ve ute yet and what do yoiu think.

I wouldnt go the VE Omega, I would go for the higher model VZ, probally cheaper than the VE and probally has more options than the Omega and in my opinon looks better. Keep in mind though, some of the problems you encountered in your VY might just be because it is a company car and gets driven around a lot, and if its like any other company car that has multiple drivers it probally doesnt get treated well.
I personally wouldnt buy a VE Omega. I would buy a VZ SV6 or a different model VZ. Id also say that most of the problems with the VY were from being mistreated but I might be wrong and they are just from general wear and tear.
if your gonna buy an omega buy the manual so you get the sv6 engine
