    Default Cars getting cheaper

Or perhaps i just have a good eye for a bargain?
i scored a VS Calais for my son last year, his first registered car, 160k, leather ect. $3500.

A few months back i scored a VT SS for my brother. Black, sunroof, electric everything $8500.

I tend to keep an eye on the used car market. I just never know when the appeal of my VN SS will wear off. I think it's almost time for a change!
I've been watching the VT's drop rapidly. Having a m8 in the game doesn't hurt either.
Vt's around 150k are able to be had for 5k! It's almost toooo tempting!

hehe, a VT is NEVER tempting ^^ lol

But yeah, if you know where to look, prices of old holdens are falling like there's no tomorrow. The latest price drops is probably due to the VE being such a good car, for the same money as the VZ series, which has pushed prices down on every prior model.

But yeah, if you can get a VS Calais for $3500 in good nick, why not?!

edit: a VN SS will NEVER lose its charm

Yes the prices are falling really fast. Ill admit, I looked at selling the VR to buy VT because they are so cheap at the moment, but just couldn't bare to part with the VR.

The VE's replacement is just around the corner......Then the VR/VS will be as dead as the VN/VP is price wise.

VT's with saggy ars ends - yuk. Tempting - no no no no....

Don’t vx's use 90% of the panels from the VT? i thought there were only subtle changes like lights and bumpers. Most major panels ie quarters, boot, bonnet, mirrors and doors the same?

Also, arn't the doors the same all the way from vt's to vz's?

VX series 2 fixed the rear end suspension with a camber kit and I personally think they look a whole lot better than the VT but you are right. VT - VZ is all the same platform...

hahahaha your right, but to be fair the small little changes do make a reasonable difference.

Agreed that the VX is a much nicer car than the VT. The VX's changes are subtle but make the car look so much nicer!

VT will be the car to suffer the most I reckon, it doesn't have the appeal. A nice VR/VS would suit me much more than a VT.

I believe the VX is more refined than the VT, Plus its got a bit more KW than the old ecotec.
