Build year goes Sep to Aug

VIN will be 6G1Y.......4LXXXXXX. The 4 = 2004

Yeah, I think late model cars are classified as the following year, I enquired about the same thing once.

What does the compliance plate say? A car may be built in one year, but if it is complianced in the following year, that is the year model. The year of a car goes on it's Australian compliance not it's build date, for new cars not imports.

Yeah its build date is 03, but its an 04 Model i had it checked out
