Thats what the NSW RTA website states. Wonder what happens if i dont have a Certificate of Registration from the previous owner but have a receipt of purchase...
u don t need rego papers just a recipt done it a few times u just need to hand the plates in if theres any on it before u can re register it
and the disposal notice is for the sellers benifit not yours because if u get done by a speeding camera or something like that and havnt handed in the disposal notice the fine is sent to the person who used to own it.
