i have a corvette servo in mine, same with a fair few other people here on the forums. i put one in mine to stop the slipping in the box, you can buy them off ebay for around 40-50 bucks. definantly worth the money, stops the slipping and makes for a quicker and firmer shift, although im soon to be going for stage 2 shift kit, the servos like a poor mans shift kit really and are very eay to install.
in regards to shifts kits etc...
I wat one for my stato soon.
how much is it guna cost, and whr is best palce to get one?
Cheers guys/girls
Marc.
dont worry, il start a ride thread soon.
Thanks 91_berlina, lots of help there.
I just found a web site, it was advertised at the bottom of one of the JC pages i opened. The website is Welcome To Furious Performance
It seems that they got everything, shift kits are about $186.95, Stage 2 is the same price as Stage 3.
And for corvette servo's the price range is from $35-$150....hmmm sounds very yummi!!!
Cheers Troy

The general price range varies around the 400 mark, drive in drive out installed, thats for a stage 2. Most places will chuck in a corvette servo for no extra charge if it isnt already included in the package they use. You can buy the kits from various places for under 200. Ebay has about a billion of them.
Ask cobez what he though of his, he loved his.
In reference to "jet_pilot"'s post. If your planning on get a shift kit, i personally wouldnt settle with a stage 1 and both are generally good for street use DEPENDING on how you drive, i wouldnt get any if all you do is redline every set of lights.
look's like stage 2 then nah i dont redline all the time (sound of a pingin v6 is horrible)
thank's grennan
could anyone explain a lil more about this vette servo and what it does thnak's

From what ive read and heard, the servo itself has a bigger surface area which allows for better shifts, when i say better i think it makes the shifts happen faster. So what you will get with the Shift Kit and Vette Servo is a firmer, faster feeling shift
There was a massive thread in Development a while ago but we lost it because of the server change.
stage 2 shift kit it is. I had been told around the 450 -500 mark fitted. So it sounds good to me.
Cheers grennan (boss) for given that bit of info,![]()

Don't do it on a very weak or problematic gearbox. Did it on the vt it crapped itself after a few weeks. If the gearbox in good working order then should have no problems.
I got mine installed while it being rebuilt.
so u got urs while teh gearbox was being rebuilt, and afta a few weeks the thing **** itself? um they sure did a gud job at rebuildin the gearbox lol
