    Default Wheel Repairs

Anyone know of any decent wheel repairers West of Melbourne or in Geelong?

I had my wheel alignment done where i shouldn't have, they scratched **** out of my wheels when removing wheel nuts. They flat out say it wasn't them...photo's say otherwise. I plan on getting repairs done then chasing them for the payment of it.

    Any help appreciated, thanks.

How bad is it?? How many wheel were damaged?

Its pretty low of them to do this to a customer's car and then saying it ain't their fault.

I remember dad bringing his old car (VX Calais) to do the balance and alignment and they scratched his front wheels and took responsibility for it.

No argument there and dad was happy.

All 4 wheels were damaged, the rim which is now cracked, has massive gutter rash. I will post up some pics of it tomorrow morning.

that totally sucks. i am sorry to hear it happened to you.

technically you're not supposed to repair aluminium rims though, other than cosmetic repairs, in victoria. chase them for new ones.

The film disposable was taken with a matching digital image, in both images it is time stamped by a watch and in the digital a matching date and time. The photos were taken again before i left the tyre place when i noticed the damage on their premises. It is all i need in court if it goes that far

Below is a few images of damage, you can't see a lot from these pics, i know i am probably being over fussy, but when the surface coat is taken off...well not happy and the gutter scrape, well, considering they were not meant to drive the car without me there says how much these guys don't care. They obviously didnt use the velvet covered lock nut head and velvet standard nut head. I just wish people even businesses respected other peoples property a little more.
