his feedback isnt too crash hot, i wonder why lol
in the first link it says original 208,000kms.
but yet in the add he bought it off, it had a blown motor and was rebuilt...
Hehe, I did a REVS check and it's still registered with NSW rego.
hahaha what a load of crapTHE CAR MAY BE GOING TO A LOCAL HOLDEN DEALERSHIP SO IT CAN BE PUT IN THE SHOWROOM FOR ANYONE WHO WISHES TO VIEW IT, I HAVE BEEN ASKED BY THE DEALER PRINCIPAL AND I MAY CONSIDER IT..
1995 Manual HSV Clubsport
Wade Cam :: 9.2:1 CR :: Pacemaker headers :: Twin 2.5" Exhaust :: VT Brakes
1991 Supercharged VN Berlina
9 PSI SC14 Intercooled :: Genie headers :: Twin cats :: HM Twin 2.25 exhaust :: 3.45:1 LSD
lol thats funny, he did a good job though bringing it back to orriginal, looks liks he's a panel beater going by where the photos have been taken, some young kid will buy it anyway and destroy it.
What makes you think its the same car ? just a question not saying its not I just read both listings and missed how ya picked its the same car.
So, it is a number's job on the car currently for sale, with the engine from the first car swapped in and the rest disappearing into the ether of spare parts?
Pretty brazen if the dealership sticker on the front apron is genuine, as that could be something that the (true) owner could use to ID it.
NO
the car in the first link is the same car in teh second link.
but hi strying to say it soriginal and 208,000kms and ****, when in the the link where he bought it it had a blown motor.
The car itself probably has done 208 000kms, he never says it's the original motor. He never says it's a rebuild either.
I'm interested to know why you think it's a chop shop job? A chop is building a car from two wrecked halves, ie: weld the front of a rear ender to the rear of a front ender. This is the original car, just refurbished. He is a bit misleading in his descriptions though.
Indeed...call me dumb, but I can't really see why this is as bad a thing as everyone's making it out to be...in the second auction I was expecting to see an auction for a writeoff, lol.

I dont see anything that majorly wrong, just looks like hes taken a 3 grand car polished it up given the engine a bit of paint and is selling it for double the price. He picked it up bloody cheap a rebuilt rb30t. But yeah this sounds a bit dodgy to me.
Also reading his feedback:i have 18 VL's Take your Pick...

He seems a bit sus.
It didn't have a blown motor...read a version that has been re-written.
I see no issue with this car to be honest. It's been bought and refreshed, dealers do this all the time.NOTE: I HAVE NOT HAD THE TIME TO WASH THE CAR . A GOOD BUFF AND BOB YOUR UNCLE. UNFORTUNATELY I BOUGHT THE CAR A FEW YEARS AGO AND LOST MY LICENCE WHILE IT HAD A BLOWN MOTOR. THIS MOTOR STILL HAS NOT BEEN RUN IN(refer to reco motor in title), SO I SUGGEST THE PERSON WHO BUY'S IT WILL TAKE CARE OF IT THIS IS A REGRETFUL SALE AND I HAVE TO SELL AS I AM UNDER PRESSURE TO GET IT OUT OF THE HOUSE. NEEDS 4 NEW TYRES FOR REGO AND THATS IT, IT DOES NEED A BLUE SLIP WHICH WONT BE DIFFICULT TO OBTAIN AT ALL.
Its actually a nice tidy looking VL, It's the kind of car I'd buy for a bit of fun.

Some of those questions come from idiots.
VL turbo's did not have a 10 bolt salisbury...wtf.Hi the car looks very impressive.Does it have the 10 bolt Salisbury LSD as fitted by Holden. Turbo VL's should have this as well s a large petrol tank.Cheers
its not a chop shop job at all, about the only thing he may be doing wrong, as others have said, is be misleading.
be careful what you say about people and or companies on the internet, especially car forums, as these people quite often are either on them or have someone they know on them, saying the wrong thing or purely assuming can be called defamation and worse case senario, you can end up in court over it if they feel like it ( and find you that is )
You guys must be blind or stupid, may I direct your attention to this thread: Thoughts on a "rare specimen" for sale !! - calaisturbo.com.au
If you's can't find anything wrong, I hope when it comes time to selling my car, one of you guys buy it.![]()
like above, you guys are all stupid if you cant see nothing wrong.
brock forums are launching legal action on this guy, and he has heat up to his kneck.

I bet this is how a lot of urban legends start too.
This guy is getting a lot of attention. There's no such thing as bad publicity. Just because a bunch of forums think they know more about the car than he does, doesn't make them correct. Everyone that sells things, especially used things tend to colour the truth a bit.
I have read about this guy on other forums too. Anyone that would buy a car from someone on ebay with that sort of feedback is a moron

Bennyfordman is RUDE and impatient, Uses a false name, I do not trust him.
After seeing more of his cars for sale its very obvious he is dodgy. All his car ads follow the similar lies and are all apparently sold by the same Reg Hunt dealer. In one of the ads ive seen the car he brought was dinted and faded and now its perfect and with less k's.
From seeing 1 ebay ad its hard to tell, but yeah now seeing the others its pretty dodgy.
Also notice the BOV on the cross over pipe in the second advert (2nd time being sold - 15" chasers) ... NOT a factory or Police option .... lmao
[GMJ37] Another Commodore .... another dollar ....
There's a lot of dodgy people selling cars from car yards, in print media, online, etc
You really need to do your homework when buying from anyone so some of these people he has allegedly ripped off may just be bitter because they didn't do their homework before buying from him
If ignorance is bliss why aren't there more happy people around ?
