What is Holden colour range worth in 2pak, by the litre? any ideas?

Seen a bit advertised lately, end of range stuff or fairly long gone Holden surplus colours. Some of the prices seem okay, but some seem way out there.

So bottom line, what should I expect to pay per litre?

Im going to take it. How many Litres you think I need for full colour change on the VK? I may keep the Calais moulds silver not sure yet, so if I painted everything how many litres?

4 litres will get your car done.... but if u get it cheap enuff buy some extra incase u have a prang

lol I was going to take the whole 10L for $200, but someone else wants it too, decided to play nice & take half & half,

So 5lts of cosmo purple for $100 is a good deal!

Great that I can get away with 5L.

Yeah for sure. I paid $110 for 3L of 2pack white for my wagon....it's not the best gear either, which that stuff Trev's sellin is PPG. So yeah if u want that colour I'd definitely go for it. :thumsbup:

Well actually the bottom wont be silver, as it still has to be painted purple, the moulds will be asteriod silver & go over the top.

DuPonts equivalent to Harlequin, DuPont ChromaLusion, RRP's at $658 US per quart which is 0.94L.

A pint (or 0.473L) of Sherwin-Williams MultiTones exceeds $300 US.

So for 1L of the equivalent paint from either Sherwin-Williams or DuPont you're looking at $700US (more expensive again here). PPG will be similar.

that would be me and it does cost upto $1000 a ltr for the real one, not the black and gold brand... theres hundreds of other company's that 'claim' to have harlequin but there crap write-offs. Theres only a hand full of company's that actually sell the real stuff

yeh that harlequin is expensive, my mates dad has a custom spray paint studio and i remember they did there vr wagon in harliquen and he said it was worth a **** load and this was bout 7 years ago, so might be a bit cheaper but no were near $105 a ltr. i think it was about a 10k paint job or there abouts then and that included sanding back, then 5-8k would av been painting it.
