    Default paint protection any good?

What are your thoughts on putting paint protection on a new car is it worth it and are there any advantages/disadvantages about it and how much does it cost, as i am looking at getting a new commy and working out if it is worth it or putting that money towards mods

not worth it. paint quality is good on new cars. if you ding it, it is very hard to repair with paint protection.

    it's a solution to a problem that doesn't exist

Paint protection might help in a decades time, but are you going to have the car that long? I doubt it. Not worth it.

yeh my g/f's dad has it on his vy acclaim, regrets it as well as it can't be polished and as said b4 can't be repaired as easy due to it, also when they come in to work and we do paint protection checks, if they have bird droppings on them this can ruin the paint protection and void the protection warranty to at my work, so id say leave it and put the money towards something else like another extra for the car or like u said some mods maybe.

Just keep your car clean and glaze/polish it once in a while and it will be fine. Paint protection is one of those things that the dealers make a killing on.
