How far from a wall should the car be parked and how high is the beam suppose to be from the ground?

5 metres from the wall, and the beam should be aimed at the exact height and distance apart as your lights are on the car. Measure up from the ground to the centre of your headlights on the car, this is how high to mark the horizontal line on the wall. They are to aim parallel to the car too.
