how to get spray paint off paint??

ey guys

the other night my m8's vs got tagged by some low life, now they hav sprayed the number plate and also on the bumpers

now how can u get it off without ruining the actual paint on the car??
hes tried metho but that didnt work

any more ideas??

Try a clay bar, it is used by body shops to remove paint overspary, so it should work.

Failing that , try some very fine cutting compound or some paint restorer .there is a brand formulated for clear coat .

Just remembered the name of the product ." T cut " for clear coat , in a reddish bottle

that happened to me once. cut'n'polish did the trick nicely. apply carefully though.

metho in most cases will only accelerate the drying process of most paints, turps would have been your best bet, followed by Wax and Grease remover and then a good polish.

as stated a cutting compound might work, if it does follow it up with a polish.

(Don't try this unless you are desperate and somewhat skilled)
Otherwise 1500 + wet and dry, water with dishwashing liquid in it should be used and keep everything wet n soapy, lightly go over the affected panel and I mean friggen lightly.
Afterwards follow up with a good polish.

I hear lowlifes are allergic to front bumpers.... (please don't really try this)
