hi every one iv got a VT v6 my motors pretty stock and i wont to chuck a set of extractors and a exhaust system on it for a bit more grunt. but some one my missus works with has got it in her head that if i get the extractors on that it will use more fuel can some one tell me are they right. Ive always thought it would save fuel.
cheers
honestly though mate if u spend $600 on a set of extractors its going to take about 8 years to reap the benefits from the better fuel economy. Just pump the tyres up and cruise.
no longer a hoon by association - the commodore is gone
cheers i wasn't hopping to save fuel really i wonted more grunt but you've helped me prove to the missus that the fuel bill isn't going to jump up and she gave me the go ahead. now all i got to do is find a good brand of extractors for a descent price.
