which shock kyb,koni or blisten...?? goin nice and low

hey all,

wanting to know which short stroke shockers to use in the rear of my vn. im leaning towards getting koni reds because i can adjust them and i want the back end stiff and handle well. but im running king ultras and taking them down 2 inches will being this low actually damage the shocker itself even tho its a short one?
shuld i stick with a crappy monroe short stroke due to it getting damaged?

if you want koni go yellows they are externally adjustable ,but the reds are still good and so are bilstein

I run Bilstein all round and have found them spot on for my VP.
