    Default Kings Springs questions

with all the part numbers and stuff, is there a real difference in the springs in terms of kings to fit VT Wagon and springs to fit VX Sedan. I mean, is it alright to put springs in your sedan that were on a wagon, or ones from a ute into a sedan. Just curios cause some people say that, when they sell second hand, they fit VT-VX Sedan and Ute, etc. Im just not sure whether they are trying to broaden their customers by saying that a spring fits there car when really it is only for another specific car. I just want to know cause ive seen some good sales around but the part numbers dont match my car on king springs catalogue, not sure whether they would still fit.

Let me know if you know!

Ute/Wagon springs are the same, they are just a heavy duty spring to cope with heavier loads.
They will fit sedan fine, but will sit higher than they normally would.

Say you want superlows in a sedan, if you put wagon superlows in, it would sit a bit higher than the sedan superlows

so if u wanted heavydutty kings in a vy sedan ud go ultra low ute/wagon springs to be the same hight as sedan superlows?
as i have a tow kit on my vy ss and might do some towing or would the sedan superlows be goodenough for the odd towing here and there?

If you want to do some towing then you would NOT go ultra lows.
I have ultra lows in the ass of my clubby, and i cant even really have ppl sit in the back seat let alone tow anything!!!!
There isnt such a thing as HS ultras, past superlows, its just too low to do any towing or anything...

There is also SSL's that is a step between ultras and supers too

would super super low springs for a ute/ wagon be about the same as super lows for sedan, coz i want mine at super low sedan height, maybe a tad lower but arent changing the shocks or putting in a camber kit. would ssl ute/ wagon springs be a bad idea in a sedan with standard shocks?????

The load rating on the springs are different too. Ride quality would be severely compromised. Using ute/wagon springs in a sedan will make it a lot stiffer than the equivalent height sedan spring.
