That's huge 1/8th mile mph stig. I could work it out but I'll just take a rough guess at 190 rwkw at least to pull that kind of mph, I've never seen a bolt on ls1 get anywhere near that mph

Default 86mph

This is why I am dubious about the 5.055s run... G-Tech shows the wheels putting down 225.3 HP @ 4775 RPM.

It all seems too good to be true... I want to see these results replicated before I believe my car will do it, let alone start boasting..

I'd be interested to know what 1/8 mile speeds others are clocking, especially those that have gone sub 5 seconds on 0-60 times

Anyway we should find out soon.. I am fitting a fuel pressure guage to the fuel rail soon. Should help me finalise the tune.. I will be able to get more runs in once the front disks are changed. I don't want to test my car control when at 86mph+ under heavery breaking, one of them decideds to disintegrate.

Default 86mph Part II

Here are some GTech screenshots from the same run showing power output. The info on the GTech itself is the top end of the run through first gear. The PC shot shows second as highlighted in the box to the right.

Lukes VP went 82-83 mph on the 1/8th mile at Calder 12 psi/Cooler, 26? degrees spark? and had gone about 5 flat on the gtech with wheelspin. Iblowns sc14 ecotec went 8.28 seconds @ 83mph 1/8th mile and 4.79 0-60 on similar psi/cooler at WSID I think. I've made 77mph out of mine which is the most I've seen from a bolt on 5 litre but I'm not sure how much power it makes. You need about 79 mph to be sure of a 13.9 second 1/4. Mine makes 14.3 1/4s on the gtech with a little wheelspin, I can't launch it like I can on the track so it would be a couple tenths faster on the track and it's a old gtech which doesn't have the option to turn rollout off if you are using that so it's a bit slower (4 tenths?) than the new gtech that has an option to emulate the tracks rollout, I think thats partly why my cars still faster than yours over a distance of 330 foot (it has no troubles making 5.9s over 330 foot) but it's showing up alot slower to 60 mph

Stig. The one run I did do on a private road I managed to pull an 8.3sec for the 1/8th mile at 94.75mph. Once again this was off a 2.5sec 60ft time but only a 4.6sec to the 60mph. I ran out of road and started slowing up before the 1000ft mark but still pulled a 10.56 at 105mph. I would love to know how the 4.454sec 60mph time would have panned out for the 1/8th mile.

That gives me more confidence in the g-tech time. Would like to have done some more runs today, but the weather sucks.

I hope to be able to run 1/4 times soon. The trouble is in finding a private road that is long enough. I guess I'll actually have to go to Calder or something sometime soon. I think the IC needs to come first though. Its on its way. Should arrive in the next few days.
