me and greenfoam have created a challenge. we want to see who can hit the 0-60mph in 4.9 or less seconds first, and maybe give an idea of the costs involved in reaching it. im sure we will both update this thread with every new mod or tune we run. we also want to know of any of VN-VS commodores that have done it. feel free to post any comments, and join the race if you like

Research has shown that men usually sleep on the right side of the bed.
Even in our sleep we happen to be right.

i thought foam was down to 5.37s in the mighty VP. maybe both greenfoam and stocky (as well as any other willing participants) need to give a basic list of mods for the times they have achieved already as neither of these cars are exactly "factory spec" anymore

You guys are gay...... start a challenge right when everything is going bad with my car.
Best time was still 6.11, but i still never got around to doing a run after the tune.
But hopefully whenever it is the cam/heads and diff are done, then i will get a lil closer.
But still no were near 4.9
Cars too heavy for that lol.
Also why exclude me cause i drive a VS... bastards!!!
I can do it on the back of a tow truck....wont get close though...
How do we prove it? Can i do a screenshot somehow lol?

Hmmmm..... 5.9 atm. I have a *lot* of work to do. Sigh.... I guess the drivers seat is all that will be going back into the VP for a bit
I can send the graphs and data files for my g-tech.

yeah its surprising the amount of work i think ill need to get an extra second off. when i compare mine to luke's old VP running the same as mine, he was running 5.11 seconds. his had a bigger exhaust, higher boost, a good engine, 3.45 spooled diff, 5 speed manual, and probably a better tune. all that got one second quicker than mine. ive got a lot of work to get 4.9
