Polish interceptor rims?

Missus says i can't spend any money on this VL i bought, so im resorting to whatever i can do at home.. I have a loan due to repay , and i sold my old commodore to buy a Sportsbike !

they are steel if u polish them they will rust unless you can clear coat them after polish, so have you done them?

you can get BMW alloy ceptors, but i think a fully polished ceptor would look tacky/cheap. spray them silver then buy the polished lip inserts for them.

Yeah they look best silver IMO.....but if u do paint them up, do it properly and use proper wheel paint....$2 stuff looks crap....and if u get paint on ur tyres, use thinners or prepsol to remove it, don't leave it on there lol...a good way to prevent it getting on there is to brush washing detergent around the tyre.
