    Default diff conversion ? normal 2 irs ?

    Can it be done ? wat is needed , is it as simple as chucking it in a hooking the extra stuff up or wat ?

    i think there was a thread a little while back and they said it worked out it was going 2 cost more than its worth doing, why do you want to do it anyway?

    I own a IRS car and never wish to swtch back to live axle. Live axle commodores tend to handle like they are on ice under heavy acceleration often causing the back end to swing out when turning. IRS cars not only have better traction however are smoother than live axle cars, and as for the camber issue, they can be fixed with a camber kit as long as the vehicle is not lowered to much.

    Also, you got to love how to back end of a irs vehicle drops under heavy acceraration.

    IRS offers no better traction on a flat surface than live axle does. Nothing really beats plain old live axle for flat surface traction.

    Not to mention the awsome feeling of the back of the car just wandering with the road a bit when your under HARD accel off the line and manage to get traction
