    Default OTR intake

    hi guys..
was wondering whether it is safe to fit an otr intake which will remove the air flow sensor, without getting a mafless tune?

    Thanks.

i wouldnt do it, reckon it would run like ****, thats if it starts at all becasue the comp will detect that theres no MAF meter

I just ordered an ORRSOM OTR intake and it lets me retain the MAF

Not tune required until I want one

Can it be removed though if you want? I thought the whole point of an OTR intake was to allow better flow and to remove the sensor? Or it makes no difference once tuned?

It might start but would it go into limp mode maybe? I guess i'll just have to wait till i have enough cash for an otr intake and tune...

The engine light would come on, the PCM would spit it because there is no MAF sensor. The whole point to an OTR is to go mafless. You need a tune to make it run properly.
