Trak off light staying on

Hi guys im hopeing this helps someone out


I have a 98 VT S (wifes car)

the other day i jump in to go somewhere and the trac off light stayed of after starting the car and cruse control wouldnt turn on

I did a search on here and did find some post about this but none of it helped the problem

anyway a guy pulled up beside me the next day and said mate both your brake lights where out check them both were blown replaced them and glory be problem fixed now all works as should

as i said hope this helps
