Hey guys I'm just wondering what sort of paint i should be using to paint Mild steel intercooler piping? Can i goto a paint store and have it mixed up? and how much more would cost compared to ordinary auto paints?

What kind of finish will i achieve from the flame proof/engine paint you get at Autobarn etc? I'm after a pretty neat finish.
