Man that is tops, excellent liberty. I've been looking at the 3GEN liberties lately, considering trading my 2GEN in on one. They're a nice looking car but too slow in n/a form... But you've certainly fixed that!

im pushing out approx 250kw's at the engine opposed to the standard 180kw.. I haven;t dyno'd it yet, but we are expecting about 180-185kw's at the wheels.. may not sound big, but remember.. its AWD..

lol @ only 500 in australia. you see them everyone on the roads. my mum also used to have one. it was good fun to drive but a pain in the arse when you tried to start it without putting in the PIN code .

when she bought it i was with her at the dealer, she pointed to it and said 'i wanna buy one of these'.

it was as if he thought she didnt know what it was! lol. she sold it though, it was jinxed. she got hit 4 times in it (all not her fault) and had hail damage.

id go the B4 over a V8, especially if the B4 has had some work done to it.

does the exhaust sound like every single WRX on the road? or is it totally different? i dont think ive ever heard one with an exhaust before

Nah mate.. sound completely different.. WRX's have that dirty note that you associate with all subaru boxers.. but this aint the case for the liberty.. it's alot tighter and cleaner.. without that hero note that everyone hates.

The Liberty's have tuned length exhaust headers (same lenght) where WRX's don't.. hence why each pipe is fighting with one another to release exhaust fumes, hence the boxer rumble.

and to be brutally honest.. sorry for this, I have pretty much destroyed any VY - VZ V8 I have come up against but at the end of the day.. I had a VL 5.0L and I fell in love with it.. the subaru was a rebound girl..

you would be quite surprised. having driven one of these on many occasions i can tell you the pick up is amazing, espcially at around 4000rpm, it takes off like a rocket. and the one i drove was stock...
