it will be one cam not cams...
anyways........ no they dont have to strip the whole motor down to do a cam change. you'll more than likely need a set of valve springs and lifters ( lifters maybe ) that match your cam. what you want as the end result will be the decider on what cam, there is too many to discuss on here, you'd have to talk to a engine builder/cam company first.
cam change can be as quick as a few hours work.
do you need a new head gasket too?
k thanks guys what happens if i just do my cam with nothing else will i blow anything how much will a decent cam cost me ???

Definatly do at least springs and lifters with the cam man.
Mick (topgear) put a crane 284 in his 5ltr, without anything else, and it just valve bounced and revved its tits off.
A cam on its own is cheap, around 200-250 brand new.
Its the labor thats the killer, around $650 to put it in.
You will also want an adjustable timing chain to dial the cam in
Better off saving your coin and doing it all at once, as Geoff mentioned, its the labour thats a killer. Atleast if you do it all at once you might save some money on labour.
so im lookin at about 1-1500$ fair bit dont get much power out of it do ya just sounds good i just want that lumpy sound love it but il have 2 c because if i do full exhaust gunna cot me bout 1 k aswel not gunna spend much on this one not gunna worry about music system etc over that stage of the doof doof instead of the cam might grab some rims and lower it-----how reliable is the cam will have problems with it futher down the track wear and tear etc

Yeah, it all adds up VERY quick.
Just get the car first, keep it for a while then decide what you want to do to it.
When i first got my Clubby, i spend heaps on stereo and i got a set of 18's and stuff, and then got over that stuff really quick, now just wanna go faster. Its an addictive thing.
So just take your time, dont rush anything, and decide what you want out of the car AFTER you have it
