How to install cruise control

Is it possible to install cruise control on the VX/VY's?
Is there any instructions on how to?

Depends on if you have the wiring looms pre-installed. It's a reasonably easy job either way.

You'll need
-cruise stalk
-module
-throttle cable
-brake switch
-(possibly) wiring loom (engine and dash)
-clutch switch if you've got a manual

It all just bolts in, there's a nice little Holden manual on it floating around the forum. If you can't find it I'll send it to you. Basically the Holden workshop manual for installing cruise.

Hey Shounak the Manual for the Install of cruise control would you be able to toss it this way mate as i want to install cruise in my VT i have all the components & just need it as a guide as to where to run everything

Just go spend 150-200 bucks on an aftermarket kit.. takes 2 hours tops to set up even with no idea..


hardest part is wrapping the sensors around the tailshaft

Does it matter if the cruise control module from a VT is from a v8 or supercharged v6 and is being installed on a standard VX series 1 ecotec?
