VS Ute with low oil pressure

Hi, I am looking for some advice regarding low oil pressure in my 1999 Vs Series III V6 Utility. Two weeks ago my ute stalled at traffic lights and since then the oil light comes on when at running temperature whilst idling. I have had two mechanics look at it and not been able to find a thing wrong with it apart from the fact that it has very low oil pressure when tested. It is currently sitting in a garage on a hoist... ute engine is running perfectly without any noises or rattles. It has now had the oil and filter changed twice in two weeks, plus oil pump seems fine, and now had the pick up pipe and filter in sump replaced yet still made no difference to oil pressure. Has anyone ever come across this before? Could the engine have done a bearing yet make no noises? Hoping someone has the answer....
