they are fake vx gts's painted in the silver finish. also comes in shadow chrome
cheers for the answers guys. I must admit i'm a little dissapointed that these are copies, genuine VX GTS really are quite unaffordable for a uni student..
they also look like a CV8-R rim or copy of them
Wheels
They are VX GTS rims they also look very similar if not the same as VY II Clubby rims.
They CV8-R rims dont have the indented line in each spoke, and they are a lot more rounded, so they are not CV8 copies.
You can tell they are noy genuine by the webbing in the center of the rim around the stud holes.
The Genuines came in Silver and Shadow Chrome.
You have to watch the quality of some fakes however. Some are known be very low quality and some are quite dangerous. Some of them can crack, the spokes crack away from the actual rim etc. Easily dinged and buckled.
If you found a good set of copies from a reputable buyer (dont buy copies from ebay is what im hinting at) you shouldnt have any issues but its one of those buyer beware things.
Buy from a reputable seller, eg WheelKing, Tyre Factory and you shouldnt have issues as they also offer warrenties and what not.
If given the choice always go for the genuine. You can easily spot those as fakes a mile off. Like Airstrike said they look cheap compared to the originals. Bloke up the road from me has genuine VX GTS rims slammed on a stato and it looks mint.
Also something i found just then whilst digging around the wheel king website.
