what rims are these?

i like the look of them, look like a cleaner version of the VX GTS rims to me and im interested in getting some for my VS, but tossing up between these, VE SS, or VY CV8-R rims.

they look pretty good, they could be copies of the vx gts??? other then that wudnt hav a clue

that is possible, but in the original image i can zoom in and see a blurred name that is definately not HSV.

VE rims do not fit anything older than VE without modification, they have a different stud size and locating spigot size.

Yeah they are a fake/copy rim, there is millions of them around, i cant remember what companies make them though sorry

They look like VX GTS, they are copies whatever they are.

Wheels

They are VX GTS rims they also look very similar if not the same as VY II Clubby rims.

They CV8-R rims dont have the indented line in each spoke, and they are a lot more rounded, so they are not CV8 copies.

You can tell they are noy genuine by the webbing in the center of the rim around the stud holes.

The Genuines came in Silver and Shadow Chrome.

Then get the fakes. Unless your car is a full genuine VX GTS then having genuine wheels doesn't matter! No one's going to say whoa you're so much cooler because you have genuine wheels on your vs!

You have to watch the quality of some fakes however. Some are known be very low quality and some are quite dangerous. Some of them can crack, the spokes crack away from the actual rim etc. Easily dinged and buckled.

If you found a good set of copies from a reputable buyer (dont buy copies from ebay is what im hinting at) you shouldnt have any issues but its one of those buyer beware things.

Buy from a reputable seller, eg WheelKing, Tyre Factory and you shouldnt have issues as they also offer warrenties and what not.

Yes they will, the fakes are quite clearly fake and cheapen the look of them.

If given the choice always go for the genuine. You can easily spot those as fakes a mile off. Like Airstrike said they look cheap compared to the originals. Bloke up the road from me has genuine VX GTS rims slammed on a stato and it looks mint.

yeah, i wouldnt trust fake rims, just incase they cause an accident, especially seeing as though I only have 3rd party.

anyone know how i can get my hands on rims from Wheel King > Home as in are they posted or can i arrange to pick them up locally? Im in perth.

or should i just buy straight from the holden dealer?
