Default V8 VN Issues

Hi I just inherited a VN v8 with only 117 on the clock, not too bad. As it hasnt been driven much lately, it runs a little rough. It misses on idle and kinda shudders in some gears when i put the foot down. Changed leads, coil etc and I sent the injectors away for a service as they were fouled and leaking vacuum. Now i have put them back in and it runs heaps better but the leak is still there.
I think its coming from the sensor in the head between the injectors on the pass side. What is this sensor?? Any ideas?
Thanks

I believe that sensor is called the MAT sensor, just unscrew it and put some thread tape on the thread then put her back in real tight. Are you shure all the injectors had O-rings on then when you put them back in, its easy to forget. Is your timing set right, had a timing check done with a timing light?

Sounds like a low kay car, you should be able to fix her up real good.

yeh i lubed up the injector o-rings and they seal nicely, Upon further investigation and the use of aerostart, i think the culprit is the intake manifold gasket. When i spray it gets sucked in and the rpm changes.
Man its using fuel too. done 150km on half a tank!!!!!!
Cheers for your tips!
